Time to start over from scratch again, I guess.
Some of you may realize that I've been hacked yet again. How frustrating.
I maintained my own webserver for 7 years using 3 different operating systems (Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris) and never got hacked during that time. This year, I moved to a new web host, decided to try PHP (and PHP Nuke) and have been hit three times in less than a year. PHP Nuke had serious security problems that I *thought* they had gotten under control recently, but I guess not. I'm now reading a lot about security problems in PHP as well (and, as if to prove it, there are numerous PHP worms making their rounds on the Internet. Sooooo PHP Nuke is gone... PHP is gone... I may just shift back to static pages, but I have to admit the thought of a Content Management System (CMS) is appealing, so I'm going to look around and see what I can find before I do much of anything.
Hang with me, I'll be back.
